Fuel Tanker Semi-Trailers Arrive in Ghana — and the Feedback Is In

Accra — A new batch of Chengda fuel tanker semi-trailers has arrived at Tema Port and entered service on the Tema–Kumasi corridor for a Ghanaian petroleum distributor.

The order covered 3- and 4-axle tanks from 30,000 to 50,000 litres, in carbon steel and aluminium alloy, built to the customer's own depot arrangement — compartment splits for diesel and petrol, and a discharge valve pattern their drivers already knew. Each unit shipped with baffle plates to damp surge, a vapour-tight shell, an earthing strap and ABS braking, with every shell pressure-tested for leaks before dispatch.

"The tankers came off the ship exactly as specified — no leaks, all compartments correct, and the loading setup matches our gantry as agreed," the buyer reported after commissioning. "The pre-delivery test records gave us confidence long before delivery."
